SURFACE PREP:
- Clean, decontaminate, dry the
surface. - Correct any surface marring,
swirls, scratches. - Remove polish oils and residue
using PrepPro (strong degreaser)
Always Clean, Correct, Degrease. DO NOT SKIP.
APPLICATION:
- Use 10-15 drops of RX1 on applicator (add more as needed)
- Apply evenly to wheels. Ensure full
even coverage. If wheels are intricate, divide wheel in halves. - Allow coating to self-level for
1-3 minutes. - Manually level coating with dry,
folded, edgeless microfiber towel. - Wipe panel again with second dry,
folded, edgeless microfiber towel. Be sure not to leave any smudges or streaks. - Repeat steps 1-5 for each panel
until each wheel is ceramic coated. - Check for high spots (they will appear darker with streaks) High spots can be reactivated with more coating and leveled
with towel during first few hours of coating.
In Hot and Humid Climate: Work faster and in smaller
sections.
Replace applicator and towels as needed during the coating process. For best results, apply in well ventilated, temperature-controlled environment. Keep surface dry for 24 hours. Do not wash or rub for 7 days. The better care you take of your coating the longer it will take care of your wheels.
